Route Well is where I blend my passion (healthy plant-based cuisine) with my obsession (travel) into one wellness inspired adventure.
I’m hitting the road with my husband and our husky to travel around the US and Canada. Proving that a healthy meal (and lifestyle) can be had anywhere.
I’m using my background as a classically trained chef and my holistic health coaching to create delicious and healthy recipes for you.
I believe a healthy life is filled with good food, soul nourishing yoga and a healthy dose of adventure.

More about Crystal:
I am a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner from the Academy of Healing Nutrition in New York City. I have studied many nutritional theories including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, macrobiotics and plant-based nutrition. I have my Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. I also have a background in the culinary arts.
After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in Dallas, TX I spent countless hours in the kitchen figuring out new healthier ways to prepare foods and make them just as delicious as old staples. I continued my culinary education with Mark Reinfeld of Vegan Fusion in Portland, OR and Miami, FL.
I have also learned a lot during my travels throughout the world. Observing other cultures, the foods they eat, cooking methods and their relationships with food. Last year I spent a month in Guatemala and received my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification.
